Sell brings 20 years of sales and management experience to the role, including a number of years managing sales at IT security vendors NetIQ and PentaSafe. Sell will be a key component in Alert Logic's continuing efforts to battle the high cost of IT security for SMBs. Most SMBs are currently forced to spend nearly twice as much on IT security as necessary, often on watered down enterprise hardware and software not designed for their specific needs. Sell has also held sales and sales management positions at BMC Software and Triad Systems.
